Introducing PBLL |
Teks: Explaining tenses and it’s pattern. |
Speaking Text : Before we begin the explanation, I will
explain what is tenses
and it’s pattern? Tenses are verb forms that indicate the time
of an action or event. In English, there are three main tenses: present,
past, and future. Each tense has four forms: simple, progressive, perfect,
and perfect progressive. The simple form is used to describe a habitual
action or a fact, while the progressive form is used to describe an action
that is ongoing or in progress. The perfect form is used to describe an
action that has been completed, and the perfect progressive form is used to
describe an action that started in the past and is still ongoing. To form
each tense, different auxiliary verbs and verb endings are used, depending on
the subject and the time of the action. |

Teks (Instruction): Explaining how to make tenses and it’s pattern. |
Speaking Text : For example, Present
Tense: This tense is used to
describe actions or events that are happening at the moment of speaking or
are relevant to the present time. The present tense can be further divided
into four forms: Simple: I work, you
work, he/she/it works · Progressive (or
continuous): I am working, you are working, he/she/it is working. · Perfect: I have worked,
you have worked, he/she/it has worked. · Perfect progressive:
I have been working, you have been working, he/she/it has been working. Now, I will give you the example from my article review : 1.
"Photography is more than just capturing moments." 2.
"Composition refers to the way elements within
a photograph are arranged." |

Conclusion : In conclusion,
mastering the simple present tense is fundamental for effective communication
in English. This tense is the go-to choice for describing routines, habits,
and general facts. Its straightforward structure, as seen in sentences like
"I work" or "He/she/it works," allows for clear and
concise expression of actions happening regularly or facts that remain true
over time. By understanding and using the simple present tense appropriately,
language learners can convey information with accuracy and precision,
enhancing their ability to engage in everyday conversations and provide clear
descriptions of ongoing activities or timeless truths. Closing : That’s all
from me, I hope you will understand how to build tenses and it’s pattern
in your article, thank you for your attention, assalamualaikum Wr.Wb. |
